(Amber Sinclair-Case)
This 20th November, director Amber Sinclair-Case presents a new queer musical theatre cabaret with a phenomenal emerging performer, Chad Saint Louis.
Fresh from associate directing West End royalty in the Olivier-nominated SIX The Musical and Gen Z legal teams in Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s Legally Blonde, Sinclair-Case joins a team of theatre makers to devise an original cabaret, Chad Saint Louis: Revelations.
Saint Louis’s extraordinary vocals soar through some of the biggest songs in musical theatre, including show-stopping numbers from The Color Purple, Wicked and The Last Five Years. Recollections and stories intertwined with the music will explore experiences of queerness, childhood, and change. Leave expectations of genre and gender at the door of the show’s intimate venue in the heart of Camden, Theatro Technis @ 26 Crowndale.
Raised by a music-loving Caribbean family in South London, Saint Louis made his West End solo cabaret debut in June 2022 with a sold-out show at the iconic Phoenix Arts Club. Since graduating from the University of Exeter in 2021, he has also performed alongside emerging artists at the Omnibus Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Saint Louis and Sinclair-Case are joined by independent theatre maker Finlay Carroll, whose recent credits include founding the ecological musical theatre company Scatter and working alongside director Kerry Kyriacos Michael MBE. Carroll joins the project off the back of associate producing Adventures of Straker (★★★★★ Edinburgh Music Review), a cabaret starring the legendary performer Peter Straker at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022.
Completing the team is orchestrator and musical director Tom Arnold (National Youth Music Theatre, Big Little Theatre School). Arnold has received critical acclaim for his new folk musical, The House of Edgar, based on the life of Edgar Allan Poe.
Booking is now open for Chad Saint Louis: Revelations on 20th November 2022 at the historic Theatro Technis @ 26 Crowndale. Founded in the 1960s and recently joined by Kerry Kyriacos Michael MBE as its new Creative Director, this venue has a rich history of musical theatre outside the mainstream.
